How the Plasma Soft Proxy handles on the course:
- Straight Putter Flight: Features a gentle high-speed turn paired with a minimal, forward-pushing finish, allowing it to fly straighter for longer down narrow fairways.
- Unmatched Touch: The highly flexible flight plate absorbs impact energy beautifully. When this disc hits the ground, it tends to sit right where it lands, minimizing rollaways on dangerous greens.
- Wide Skill Appeal: The neutral stability makes it incredibly easy for lower-power throwers to keep straight, while remaining a highly workable, torque-resistant tool for experienced players.
The Plasma Soft Plastic Advantage
Axiom’s Plasma Soft plastic takes the visually striking, metallic sheen of standard premium Plasma and blends it with a highly flexible polymer. This yields an exceptionally gummy grip that performs beautifully in cold weather or wet conditions. Beyond the excellent release feel, the soft nature of the plastic makes it far more likely to grab chains on putts and dramatically reduces ground play on approach shots.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Plasma and Plasma Soft?
Standard Plasma is a durable premium plastic built with a slightly gummy, metallic finish. Plasma Soft utilizes a much more flexible polymer blend, giving the disc a highly malleable feel. This added flexibility provides extra grip in the hand, better chain-grabbing ability, and drastically reduces skips and rollaways when the disc lands on the green.
Is the Plasma Soft Proxy a good disc for beginners?
Absolutely. The Proxy's subtle high-speed turn, minimal fade, and glide-focused design make it incredibly easy for lower-power throwers to achieve a straight flight path. The Plasma Soft plastic makes it even more forgiving by preventing unwanted ground play.
