Flight Numbers & Performance

The Neutron Soft Proxy operates on official flight ratings of Speed: 3, Glide: 3.5, Turn: -1, and Fade: 0.5. It is designed to hold whatever line you put it on with minimal fade, giving players effortless accuracy from the green to the tee.

How the Neutron Soft Proxy handles on the course:

• Dead-Straight Accuracy: When thrown flat with power, the Proxy exhibits a very minor amount of high-speed turn that allows you to shape subtle lines before settling perfectly flat.
• Unmatched Touch: The softer flight plate absorbs impact energy beautifully. When this disc hits the ground, it tends to sit right where it lands, minimizing rollaways on dangerous greens.
• The Envy's Partner: Because it shares the exact same core as the Envy, you get the exact same comfortable grip for both your overstable and straight-to-understable approach shots.

The Neutron Soft Plastic Advantage

Axiom’s Neutron Soft plastic takes the industry-leading durability and vibrant aesthetic of standard premium Neutron and adds a highly flexible, gummy feel. This yields exceptional grip for clean, confident releases from the tee in all weather conditions, while also making the disc far more likely to grab chains on putts and stick to the ground on approaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Neutron and Neutron Soft?

Standard Neutron is a relatively stiff, smooth premium plastic built for maximum durability and a clean release. Neutron Soft utilizes a more flexible polymer blend, giving the disc a gummy feel. This added flexibility provides extra grip in the hand, better chain-grabbing ability, and drastically reduces ground play when the disc lands.

Is the Neutron Soft Proxy a good disc for beginners?

Absolutely! The Proxy is highly accessible for newer players due to its straight flight, excellent glide, and manageable speed. The Neutron Soft plastic makes it even more forgiving by preventing unwanted skips on the green.
