How the Eclipse Proxy handles on the course:
- Straight, Forward-Fading Finish: Unlike the overstable dump of an Envy, the Proxy finishes gently forward. A bit of high-speed turn allows its lines to be manipulated over a broad range of power levels.
- Beginner Friendly: The slight understability and high glide help less powerful throwers achieve dead-straight putter drives without needing to force the disc over.
- Eclipse Stability: Eclipse plastic is known for molding up slightly stiffer and a touch more overstable than standard Neutron, giving this Proxy incredible torque resistance for power throwers.
The Eclipse Plastic Advantage
Axiom’s Eclipse plastic is universally recognized as the brightest and longest-lasting glow-in-the-dark blend in disc golf. Just a quick hit with a UV flashlight provides a brilliant, enduring charge. Structurally, Eclipse is a premium, highly durable plastic that feels fantastic in the hand, offering a slightly stiffer flight plate that withstands heavy tree kicks while maintaining its reliable flight characteristics.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Axiom Proxy compare to the Axiom Envy?
The Proxy and the Envy share the exact same low-profile core, meaning they feel identical in the hand. The difference lies in the outer GYRO overmold. The Envy (3/3/0/2) is designed for a dependable, overstable finish, while the Proxy (3/3.5/-1/0.5) is designed for a neutral, incredibly straight flight with a gentle, forward-penetrating finish.
Is the Eclipse Proxy good for day rounds?
Absolutely! While it features the best glow on the market for night golf, Eclipse is simply a top-tier premium plastic. Many players prefer Eclipse during the day because of its excellent durability, stiff feel, and slightly enhanced torque resistance compared to standard Neutron.
