Discmania Metal Flake Horizon C-Line P2x Arctic Assassin 2 | 3 | 0 | 1
The Discmania Metal Flake Horizon C-Line P2x Arctic Assassin is a premium fundraiser release designed in partnership with Gannon Buhr and the DMC crew. If you want a driving putter that handles high power and fights off breezy conditions without blowing past your target, this version hits the sweet spot. It features a low-profile feel and a distinct bead on the bottom edge that gives you a completely clean release when throwing hard lines off the tee. Check out the rest of the family by looking through the Discmania P2x Collection Hub, or view all of your short-game options in the main disc golf putters collection. We weigh and take separate photos of every single disc by hand, so the exact color ring and stamp combo you choose is the one that gets shipped out.
Flight Numbers
The P2x gives you a highly predictable, straight-to-stable flight path. As a low-speed putter, it glides smoothly down the fairway without needing maximum effort to stay airborne. The zero turn means you can pull back and drive flat without worrying about the disc turning over, while the mild low-speed fade guarantees a dependable, biting finish at the end of its flight.
| Speed | Glide | Turn | Fade |

The Metal Flake Horizon C-Line P2x delivers:
- Stiff Premium Rim: A hard, unyielding edge that provides a clean point of release for throwers who dislike flexible putter plastics.
- Wind-Fighting Stability: Holds its line beautifully through moderate headwinds without drifting off-target or flipping over.
- Dependable Low-Speed Fade: Slows down with a distinct, forward-penetrating drop that checks up nicely on the grass.
It excels at:
- Full-power backhand tee shots where hitting a tight gap and staying perfectly straight is mandatory.
- Short sidearm approach shots that require a comfortable, beaded rim and a flat top profile.
- Navigating windy approaches where standard baseline putting plastics get tossed around by the breeze.
The Metal Flake Horizon C-Line Plastic Advantage
This limited Arctic Assassin run brings together a shimmering metal flake look with a striking two-tone outer Horizon ring effect. It feels stiff and exceptionally durable in the hand, making it ideal for navigating tight woods lines where you might click a tree. It is worth noting that the stamp features a quick factory typo stating it is a glow plastic—these do not actually glow in the dark, but they offer the true premium durability and added stability of high-grade C-line material that holds its flight numbers for years.
How the P2x Fits in the Discmania Lineup
- Vs the Discmania D-Line P2x: D-line is a baseline plastic meant primarily for putting inside the circle and wears in relatively fast. This premium Horizon run is much stiffer, more overstable, and built specifically for heavy throwing off the tee box.
- Vs the Discmania Glow C-Line P2x: The Glow C-line version actually illuminates for night rounds and has a slightly softer feel, while the Arctic Assassin is firmer and carries a hair more low-speed fade.
- Vs the Innova AviarX3: The AviarX3 is a very flat, highly overstable approach disc that dumps quickly out of the air, whereas the P2x glides much farther and maintains a straighter line before its finish.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Metal Flake Horizon C-Line P2x
Does the Arctic Assassin P2x actually glow in the dark?
No. There is a small typo printed directly on the tournament stamp that says "Glow Metal Flake Horizon," but these discs do not contain any glow-in-the-dark properties. The actual material is premium Metal Flake Horizon C-line plastic built for daytime play.
Is this version of the P2x more overstable than the stock D-line run?
Yes. Because the premium C-line blend cools out of the mold much denser and stiffer than baseline plastic, the Arctic Assassin carries a touch more high-speed stability and a more pronounced finishing fade right out of the box.
How does the bead on the bottom rim feel when throwing?
The P2x features a medium-sized bead along the bottom of the rim. It fills out the hand nicely and offers a highly secure point of contact for your index finger on backhands, or your middle finger when setting up for a touch sidearm scramble.
