MVP Glitch
The Complete MVP Glitch Collection Hub
The MVP Glitch is a hybrid catch disc that blurs the line between a beach catch disc and a course-ready approach disc. It has the diameter of a putter, it’s PDGA approved, and its 7 glide and neutral flight make it effortless to throw. It holds the angle you release it on, floats, and sits where it lands. Find it with the rest of our putter collection, or browse the full MVP Discs Collection.
Understanding the Flight Dynamics & Stability
At 1 | 7 | 0 | 0, the Glitch is all about glide. The 1 speed means you barely have to throw it, and the 7 glide keeps it floating a lot longer than you'd expect from a putter-diameter disc. The 0 turn and 0 fade mean it holds the angle you release it on and carries forward without dumping, so it sits where it lands. It's 21.2 cm across and only 2.0 cm tall with a 1.6 cm rim depth and a thin 0.8 cm rim, so it's a low profile disc that feels more like a catch disc in the hand than a normal putter.
What the Glitch brings to your game:
- Massive Glide: The 7 glide does the work, so you get floaty carries out of awkward stances and short swings.
- Angle Integrity: It holds the angle you release it on, so hyzers stay hyzers and flat throws stay flat.
- Soft Landings: It slows down and sits where it lands instead of skipping away from the basket.
Choose the Right Glitch Plastic
Each plastic gives the Glitch a different feel:
- Neutron Soft Glitch - MVP’s premium Neutron plastic made softer. It flexes, grips and catches easy, and it sits where it lands. A durable all-weather Glitch for casual play and approaches.
- Fission Glitch - MVP’s microcellular, lightweight premium plastic. The lightest and floatiest Glitch, great for repeated throws and catch.
- Eclipse Glitch - MVP’s premium glow plastic, now a stock Project Lab Coat release. It glows for night rounds, and our runs come a little heavier.
How the Glitch Plays on the Course
Most players bag a Glitch for the shots a normal putter makes hard: standstill scrambles under low ceilings, long floaty approaches, and anything where you need the disc to stop near the target. It’s also the disc everybody pulls out for a catch before the round. It isn’t a wind disc. On windy days, or when you need a harder finish, step up to the MVP Watt for a full-weight version of the same idea, or the MVP Entropy for an overstable approach disc.
Frequently Asked Questions About the MVP Glitch
Is the MVP Glitch legal for tournaments?
Yes. The Glitch is PDGA approved, so you can throw it in sanctioned rounds even though it doubles as a catch disc.
What weights does the MVP Glitch come in?
Most Glitches are light, usually around 140 to 155 grams, which is a big part of why they float. The Eclipse Glitches we stock run heavier, around 156 to 164 grams. Every disc on our site is scale-weighed, so you pick the exact weight.
Is the MVP Glitch good for beginners?
Yes. It takes very little power to throw, it flies straight with a neutral finish, and the low profile feels familiar to anyone coming from Ultimate or backyard catch. It’s a great first disc and a great warm-up disc.
