Six Sided Discs Hexagon
ARMORY SCALE WEIGHT: Every disc is individually weighed by Armory. Our measured weight may differ from the manufacturer's sticker, embossing, or marked weight.
Rewrite the laws of physics with the Six Sided Discs Hexagon! Created in collaboration with Trash Panda Disc Golf, the Hexagon is the world’s first injection-molded golf disc featuring a distinct six-sided rim configuration. Manufactured in Colorado from 100% recycled plastic, this unapproved novelty disc is an absolute blast for casual rounds and trick shots. The flat edges create massive aerodynamic drag, stripping away its glide (2/0.5/0/3) and making it the ultimate "anti-skip" approach disc that stalls out and drops dead on the fairway.Couldn't load pickup availability

Rewrite the laws of physics with the Six Sided Discs Hexagon! Created in collaboration with Trash Panda Disc Golf, the Hexagon is the world’s first injection-molded golf disc featuring a distinct six-sided rim configuration. Manufactured in Denver, Colorado from 100% recycled plastic, this project started as a design experiment to test how unconventional shapes affect flight dynamics. The result is an incredibly fun, highly unique approach disc that stops on a dime. Flight Numbers & Aerodynamic Physics
While traditional flight numbers are tricky for a non-circular disc, community reviews estimate its practical flight numbers to sit around 2 | 0.5 | 0 | 3. The Hexagon was originally molded using a wing profile based on popular, highly overstable approach discs (like a Zone or Toro). However, when that overstable rim is given a hexagonal edge, the flat corners fundamentally alter the physics of the flight.
| Speed | Glide | Turn | Fade |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 0.5 | 0 | 3 |
How the six-sided design dictates the flight:
- High Aerodynamic Drag: As the flat edges spin through the air, they create immense air resistance. This makes the disc decelerate much faster than any circular disc.
- Straightened Stability: The aggressive drag strips away the hard, sweeping fade you would normally expect from this rim profile, forcing it to drop straight down.
- The "Anti-Skip" Machine: Because it drops with virtually zero forward momentum and features distinct corners, it hits the ground and stops immediately. Expect zero ground skip.
Performance by Arm Speed
The Hexagon behaves uniquely depending on how much power you put behind it:
- Slower Arms: Functions as a highly reliable, straight-to-overstable approach hybrid. It flies straight for a short distance before stalling out and dumping straight downward.
- Faster Arms: If thrown with high power, it will exhibit a brief high-speed turn. However, the rapid deceleration quickly cuts the flight short, preventing it from turning over completely or gliding away.
100% Recycled Plastic Variations
The Hexagon is proudly manufactured using 100% recycled plastic. It is available in several distinct material blends to suit your preferred grip and flexibility:
- First Run / Base Plastic: Moderately stiff, highly grippy baseline plastic meant for precise short-game control. (Available in Lavender, Lemon, Grape, Bubblegum, Salmon, Blue Raspberry)
- Sticky Blend: A slightly softer, much tackier version of the base blend designed for maximum hand grip. (Available in Sticky Bubblegum, Sticky Tangerine)
- Basalt Plastic: A flatter, slightly softer recycled blend with less grip. Designed to handle high-power tee shots and allow for a tiny bit more ground play. (Available in Solid Black)
- Flexagon: A durable, highly flexible rubber-like blend engineered to absorb heavy impacts upon hitting the ground or trees. (Translucent / Variable)

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Six Sided Discs Hexagon PDGA approved?
No, the Hexagon is strictly not PDGA approved. Under official PDGA Technical Standards, a golf disc must have a "circular saucer-like configuration." Because the Hexagon intentionally breaks this rule, it is built purely for casual rounds, trick shots, and object golf games.
Why does the Hexagon have six sides?
The project started as a design experiment by Six Sided Discs and Trash Panda Disc Golf to test how unconventional shapes affect flight physics. The flat edges create aerodynamic turbulence, killing the glide and stripping away the traditional sweeping fade of its overstable rim.
Does the Hexagon skip when it hits the ground?
No, it is widely considered an "anti-skip" machine. Because the flat edges create so much drag in the air, the disc decelerates rapidly. When it finally drops out of the sky, the pronounced corners hit the dirt and stop its forward momentum completely, leaving almost zero ground play.
