Innova Destroyer
The Complete Innova Destroyer Collection Hub
The Destroyer is Innova's most famous distance driver and one of the most thrown discs on tour. It's a 12 speed with real glide, a little high-speed turn and a strong, dependable fade, so it handles power and wind without giving up distance. This hub has every Destroyer we stock, from everyday Star and Champion to Halo, glow and Tour Series runs. Understanding the Flight Dynamics & Stability
At 12 | 5 | -1 | 3, the Destroyer is built for strong arms. The 12 speed needs a firm throw to fly right, and the 5 glide carries it a long way. The -1 turn gives it a little drift on a hard, flat throw, and the 3 fade brings it back reliably at the end. Plastic changes a lot on this mold. Halo Star, Halo Champion and most Tour Series runs fly the most overstable, while Pro and lighter runs fly straighter and are easier to get up to speed.
What this collection brings to your game:
- Max Distance: The 12 speed and 5 glide give strong arms some of the longest flights in the game.
- Wind and Torque Control: It holds up to hard throws and headwinds better than glidier drivers.
- A Run for Every Arm: Pick an overstable Halo or Champion run for power, or a lighter, softer run for a straighter flight.
Choose the Right Destroyer Plastic
Each plastic and run offers a different feel and performance profile:
- Star Destroyer - The stock Destroyer in grippy, durable Star plastic. The everyday benchmark, and it seasons into a little more glide over time.
- Halo Star Destroyer - Two-tone Halo Star plastic that flies noticeably more overstable than stock, built for wind and forehands.
- Champion Destroyer - Firm, translucent and the most durable Destroyer. It holds its stability the longest.
- Pro Destroyer - Grippy Pro plastic that breaks in faster, for a slightly easier, straighter Destroyer.
- Swirly Star Destroyer - Star plastic with a one-of-a-kind swirl in every disc and the classic stable Destroyer flight.
- Proto Glow Destroyer - Innova's brighter, longer-lasting glow plastic, made for night rounds.
- Calvin Heimburg DUO Destroyer - Calvin Heimburg's 2026 Tour Series run in two-tone DUO plastic, Star on one half and Metal Flake Champion on the other.
- Garrett Gurthie Halo Star Destroyer - Garrett Gurthie's 2026 Tour Series in a firmer Halo Star batch with very little high-speed turn.
- Henna Blomroos Halo Champion Destroyer - Henna Blomroos's 2026 Tour Series in Halo Champion plastic, with extra high-speed stability.
- Ohn Scoggins Glow Halo Champion Destroyer - Ohn Scoggins's 2026 Tour Series in glow Halo Champion plastic, built for forehand flex lines and night rounds.
- Philo Brathwaite Destroyer - Philo Brathwaite's 2026 Tour Series in manageable upper-160s weights for easier distance.
- Eveliina Salonen Swirly Star Destroyer - Eveliina Salonen's 2026 Tour Series in Swirled Star, with a stamp honoring her 2024 Pro Worlds title.
- Bradley Williams Baby Destroyer - Bradley Williams's 2026 Tour Series Baby Destroyer in lightweight Halo Star, easier for slower arm speeds.
- Calvin Heimburg Halo Star Destroyer - Calvin Heimburg's Tour Series Halo Star run, a very overstable utility Destroyer for wind, flex shots and skips.
How this Category Aligns on the Fairway
Reach for the Destroyer on long, open holes, big hyzers, forced flex lines and power forehands. Most strong throwers use 170 to 175 grams in Star, Champion or Halo plastic. If max-weight premium runs feel too overstable, try a Pro Destroyer or a lighter run like Philo's upper-160s Tour Series disc. When you want more control and less power, step down to a Wraith. Frequently Asked Questions About the Innova Destroyer
Which Destroyer plastic is the most overstable?
Halo Star and Halo Champion runs, along with most Tour Series runs, usually fly the most overstable. Champion is next, then Star and Swirly Star. Pro is the straightest and easiest to throw.
What weight Destroyer should I get?
Most players throw 170 to 175 grams for wind and power. If you don't throw as hard, a Destroyer in the 160s is easier to get up to speed and flies straighter with a softer fade.
Is the Innova Destroyer good for beginners?
Usually not. It's a 12 speed overstable driver, so newer players often see it fade out early, and most beginners get more distance from a slower driver. The Destroyer is built for intermediate and advanced players with real arm speed.
